We discussed Bel Canto by Ann Patchett and sampled Sangria and chocolates.

For our next book we will read Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.   We will meet at Hannah's house on October 17th.

April Book Club - The Elegance of the Hedgehog

In April, we will meet to discuss "The Elegance of the Hedgehog" by Muriel Barbery.  We will meet on Wednesday, April 25th at Tracy's house at 8:00.

The Girl Who Played with Fire Movie Night - March

In March, we will meet to watch the Swedish version of "The Girl Who Played With Fire."  We will meet on Thursday, March 15th at Allison's house.

Book Club Excursion to the Movies: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (American Release)

We will be taking a field trip to the movie theater on a date to be determined at a time to be determined to see the American release of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and will read "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" through the month of January.  January 21st is our deadline.  If the movie isn't showing at  the Hiway, then we will go to the Plymouth Meeting AMC.

February Book Club: The Red Tent by Anita Diamant

In February, we will read "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant.  We will meet on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at a home to be determined.  

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Movie Night

We will meet on Wednesday, December 14th at 7:00 at Marguerite's House to watch the Swedish version of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." Concurrently, you can read "The Girl Who Played with Fire" as an optional read.  You can contact Marguerite (MGMJP on the right) for directions.  In January, we'll plan to see the newly released American version of the movie.

We will be reading The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff. It is available at the public library and also for purchase in paperback. We will be meeting on Wednesday, September 14th.
